#41 - The Rona Series Episode 32: Valentine's Day
Show Notes

Valentine's Day in the U.S of A.  For some, it can be an eventful day that people look forward to every year, or for others, it can be just another day to avoid the fanatics in public.  However we look at it, it can hold a special place in our hearts, or we can be cynical about it.  Overall, we have to acknowledge its history, and how it came to be, and then make our own decision on how we celebrate it.

In this episode, Steven and Tyler teams up for a third week in a row to tackle the following question:

How do you think Valentine’s Day 2021 will be impacted because of the ongoing pandemic? Generally, and/or personally?

Throughout the episode, Tyler and Steven discuss Valentine's Day from their point of view.  From a macro stance, they both agree that though Valentine's Day is not too special to them personally, they feel on an economic sense, restaurants will be the most impacted.  Keep in mind, this is the first Valentine's Day impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.  It may seem that Valentine's Day is a fairly capitalist holiday.  Some can potentially argue that with stats.  Overall, they concluded that like any other holiday, make it your own.

In the end, a holiday can be just like any other day of the week, or it can be whatever you choose to make it.  It appears all holidays, even the major federal ones, are not worth the hype because it is all subjective to one's own traditions.  Make your own traditions, or just choose to not participate.  We all have our own free will about it.  Happy Valentine's Day, or have a happy day-after where you can find all candies up to 75% off!
