#52 - The Rona Series Episode 43: De-Stressing and Avoiding Burnout... Again.

For most of us, it seems like this week or this month, we have been gathering steam in being busy bodies, again.  With being busy, sometimes we start piling too much on to our plates, and we start juggling too many things.  Dividing and subdividing our attention, we start to stress out a little bit and become burned out.  Whether we are starting to experience this burnout this month, will possibly get it, or is still experiencing it from the long and on-going pandemic, it's nice to catch it head on, or be proactive about it.  In today's episode, we are going to de-stress and talk about how we have been prioritizing our time so far, or how to combat it when we are starting to feel the burn.

In this episode, we each share some stories about how we are prioritizing our time, specifically when it comes to work and life balance.  Though we are still feeling some sort of burnout from the year long pandemic, we look daily to find normalcy and find ways to keep grinding through the day.

Throughout this episode, we talk about what we are juggling with, and how we are confronting stress and time management issues head on.  Though there is no one right answer, this is our own personal experience and how we see it working for us.

In the end, we conclude this short episode by providing a few solutions on how we personally combat stress and burnout in our lives.  When it comes to time management, we discussed how we would scale back, and write down all of the things we have to do, and prioritize based on deadlines.  For the work we have to do that doesn't have any deadlines, we believe there is always time that can be found.  Whether we find time to work, here and there, we de-stress by making it fit.  Lastly, we talk about how sometimes burnout is a long term issue, especially during this pandemic.  One thing to stay focused on is to always try and find ways to take care of your own personal well-being.  Look to always take care of all aspects of your own health, and hopefully, when things shape up to whatever sense of normal can be had, we would be ready for it.
