#62 - The Rona Series Episode 53: Independence Day Pandemic Part 2?
Show Notes

Welcome to the 2nd 4th of July celebration of the pandemic.  And as most of you all know from our series, the pandemic is still going on until we stop hearing about it, and maybe some form of normalcy comes back in the world.  Last year in 2020, deep in the midst of the city lockdowns, the 4th of July still came and went.  This year it seems we are nearing the end of widespread cautions because of vaccines, but how is this year any different now that we are all feeling like we are crawling out of a blip in time and stepping back to making things normal?

In today's episode, we are going to have a short discussion catching up on our 4th of July 2021 weekend, and how we feel if it's a sign of what to expect in the future of the Covid-19 pandemic.  After all of our stresses and anxieties, our growth and reflections, and every experience beyond and in between, there is still some sense of the unexpected in our future.

Throughout this episode, we had a good time catching up on how we spent our time during the holiday weekend.  We found that some of us did the usual tradition of going camping, and others just spent time with family.  Overall, it seems like this Independence Day feels like the calm before the storm.  Whether it leads to the end of the pandemic and a safer future, or it leads us a step or two back, is still waiting to be seen.

In the end, after sharing our stories, and how it was an overall great holiday weekend, we learned from our conversation together that, as always, we still don't know what the future holds for us in regards to the pandemic.  Whatever comes our way, we all just have to continue to stay strong and support one another through it.
