#66 - The Rona Series Episode 57: Theaters or Streaming?
Show Notes

With streaming services being so much more prevalent in our lives, and access to incredible shows and movies at the touch of our remote, we can explore and enjoy entertainment all from the comfort of our home. The pandemic has increased this ability for us. New movies that traditionally debut in movie theaters first, are now simultaneously hitting streaming services for people to enjoy the debut without having to leave their homes.

In this episode, we discuss how the pandemic has shifted how we watch and access entertainment, and how our preference for going out to a movie event has changed.

Throughout this episode, we discuss our variety of reasons why we would prefer one venue over another when wanting to watch our favorite movie, or a debut. With traditional matters, we each weigh the pros and cons of each venue, and how each one appears to have equal weight depending on the situation at the moment--for instance, enjoying a debut with the comfort of your own home and own food, or the fact of being able to go out with friends to a shared commercial space.

In the end it always comes down to personal preference and your own comfort level. No matter how you view it, the idea of being able to have a shared experience in a physical space, or just being able to have the same access to a shared experience from wherever you are, is a new phenomenon of shared human experience that we will continue to see evolve.
