#73 - The Rona Series Episode 64: Which Countries Work the Most?
Show Notes

People are fascinated with stats.  Sometimes the numbers reveal more depth into a subject or category than we had realized from our perspective on the surface.  This can be in sports, in engineering, for example, and all kinds of topics with data.  In the internet and information world we live in today, you can pretty much find stats in anything.  I did a random quick look into a list of average working hours by country, and which ones were the top 5 in averaging the most working hours per year in 2021 for all its people.

In this episode, we are going to guess the top 3 on that list, try to guess why those are the countries on that list, and end it with a thought, why do we work as many hours as we do, and is it sustainable?

Throughout this episode, we don't go into much of the validity of the stats, but more of a fun guessing game and why the countries lead the way in most working hours.

In the end, we reveal that the top 3 countries so far with the most average working hours this 2021, are India, U.S., and Japan.  From there we have a discussion of what if's; what if we had lesser working hours, and if we did, what would our country's work culture look like.  Overall, we have a great fun discussion that leads to a more in-depth thought provoking conversation.
