#80 - The Rona Series Episode 71: Daylight Saving Time
Show Notes

Daylight savings just came and went last weekend.  Fall back as the saying goes, so at this time, we get an extra hour back in our lives.  The downside though, is that during this time the sunsets a lot sooner, giving us less daylight hours during the day.  I recently read a short article about people in Finland or Norway (don't quote me) where during winter time they hardly get any sun.  But, contrary to the belief that only sunny days make people happier (you know, vitamin D, etc.), the people here are happiest during these night (or dark) times.  The reason is because they choose to focus on the things in the moment, or they choose to find something to be happy about.  For instance, it's winter time, so more time to play in the snow, more time to cozy up by the fire with a good drink, or more time to spend intimately with loved ones.  All in all, that is an interesting take in general, especially here in the US, where we complain sometimes of how little sun we get during the winter--at least we get sun?

In this episode, we aren't going into the history of Daylight Savings, or get into the psychology of the folks who don't get any sun during the winter time, instead, we are going to have a conversation about ourselves and if Daylight Savings even impacts us in anyway.  Do we notice any changes in ourselves, or others?

Throughout this episode, we talk about what we like and dislike about Daylight Savings.  Nothing more than just our opinion on the event, and how we experience it, or become impacted by it.

In the end, we didn't go into the history of it all, but we reflect on how it impacts our life, and how we can be more positive of having less or more time in our day.
